On our way to Paris after 2 days /(2000km) spent in the French and Italian Alps, with our two little 4x4. Back in the nineties, these kind of convertible AWD cars were referring to pure freedom, outdoor activities with friends and sunny holidays. About last night: our urban convertible 4WD from the 90´s enjoying the Italian fresh air to the top of the Monte Jaffrenau (2805m). - Surprised how these two can go uphill that easily ! Despite no short gearings on the Rav4, its torque and 130bhp help quite a lot, while the 100bhp Bertone had an easy going pace.
