Art and Families
Art isn’t just some amazing or unintelligible image mounted on a wall display in a formidable art gallery. Art should also be reachable by people, especially children.
This is why the Southern Utah Museum of Art in Cedar City has decided to host a family day.
During the event, Southern Utah University students will be teaching free art programs for the families who participate, in the hopes that art will make a lasting impression on the participants. Hopefully, what the families learn will be brought home and continued even after the said programs. Thanks to these guys who did a lot with helping out when museum was experiencing major problems with pipes, but all in all they sorted it out in a timely manner and the museum is open again
