it is actually kind of silly how wounded i feel about this but like. sourin doesnt actually have that much exclusive official art to it, just that one soccer end card and this one poster outside of the show itself and people couldn't even leave that to the fans to enjoy and celebrate.
i actually feel really uncomfortable with people cutting up and editing the sourin/makoharu posters to make manips of their ships like
i'd get it if your ship never had any pandering to it but like
even makorin/souharu (thats on the right sides to be mixed and matched) got their own official arts, and that's the only sourin-only poster ever so
idk like. how desperate are you guys. like. is there NOTHING of your own to have for yourselves? i dont know man i dont know but i am not comfortable with it at all, that's kind of a dick move to the fans of the actual pairings.
utsumi's recent interviews where she answers questions about makoto are really important to me, because it's such a flip from last season
it always used to be "makoto is a sweet boy, a gentle boy" and she always rolled with that but it's really nice to see she did actually put a considerable amount of feeling into his scenes with haruka and what their relationship means.
idk, its really new seeing it from Utsumi, who did carry a Rin-exclusive bias, so it's really pleasant and lovely, reading her answers about makoto makes me feel like i have better insight on him too
what she says: i'm fine
what she means: i am still in a state of complete distraught over my favourite character being cheated out of his happiness and future for it to make absolutely no difference by the end of the show, and waiting for any bit of information on what's happened to him after the shitty series that used and abused him is over and he's the only one left with no definitive future or dream or ambitions and i only got to see him looking out a pier into the sun setting over the sea AND SOUSUKE YAMAZAKI DESERVED BETTER.

my initial behind-the-scenes hc of what happened after rin told sousuke he'd wait for him was yeah well they probably had sex next to the samezuka pool for the last time """for nostalgia""" but nah sousuke probably went into cardiac arrest because he got so happy and rin had to call the ambulance and it was probably a total MESS imagine rin carrying that giant ass tree of a guy to the ambulance
and the only reason they could give for it was that "my baby told me they'd wait for me to come back to them to fulfill our dream" word for word and rin is so embarrassed he can't even face his body to sousuke or the doctor so he's just.
