The Performance || Chanyeol x Sungjong
Lights.
Camera.
Action.
Or well, Chanyeol had always wished there was a camera on him, filming his every move, but as he recalled, those kinds of devices were prohibited from being used in the performance tent for the performers' safety.
In a sense though, it was more calming for Chanyeol. He didn't have to worry about anyone catching his mishaps on tape, which meant he didn't have to worry about having another constant reminded other than himself about how much of a fuck up he could be sometimes.
He stood there, centre staged, and dressed in black from head to toe. He preferred it this way, because then his clothing wouldn't take away from his show.
They called him the "Firefly". It seemed suiting, or at least he thought so anyways.
He always took a moment to mentally prepare himself, to void his mind of all thoughts, and all feelings, until he was left with nothing but the fire.
Within seconds, the area around his hands were encased in fire, the boy having lit two lighters at once for this effect. But of course, he would never reveal his secrets to the general public.
Concentrating, the balls of heat around him began to grow, the flames getting bigger and brighter.
Transferring the ball of energy from one hand to the other to create on giant fireball, Chanyeol reached inside his pocket for a couple of matches; he had broken them apart long before his stage time in order for this to work. Carrying about six in one go, he teased the tips of the matches over the fire ball before tossing them as high up into the air as he possibly could, and waited.
One by one, the tiny matches began to ignite. Burning bright, they soon combusted to give off the effect of fireworks.
He couldn't help but grin at that, watching as the little sparks fell from the bigger mass of fire and extinguishing themselves before falling to the ground in ashes.
