calamity could easily drive someone crazy, and aiden had been through a lot even if most didn't know, or he didn't talk about it. still, the pup was where he was now and there was no changing any of it; it couldn't be undone, he couldn't go back to the people he had once considered his family so he had no choice but to attempt to make a new one, even if he didn't want the pack life. aiden, despite beliefs, was quite happy at oberyn's side now that he had that trust from the vampire and the compulsion lifted. he couldn't lie though, it had been a little difficult since mike had left; or at least, aiden was assuming that he had left rather than thinking about the possibility of oberyn putting an end to him. he and mike had just seen eye to eye and whilst he wasn't sure the other wolf had considered him a friend, he had considered mike a friend... even after everything.
"i feel like this town is gonna make me lose my mind another thousand times." he sighed, glancing up at peyton and reaching for her hand. "hold my hand, we'll make it though another night." aiden didn't know what was going on with peyton, but he knew that she was down in the dumps. he turned up at her place with all the supplies he could think of; chocolate, alcohol, flowers... hoping that something from the haul would make her smile.
