2 - When is your birthday?August 21.6 - What is your favorite song as of the moment?Kind of a tie— lately, either Arctic Monkeys’ “Snap Out Of It” or Surfer Blood’s “Weird Shapes”. Both are catchy as fuck in their own way. (edit: honorable mention: “Spotlight” by Leagues. THAT one is hella catchy.)22 - Who is your bestfriend?Used to be Luke, but he moved back to Houston and we haven’t talked in a long time, so I suppose I don’t really have one here anymore.24 - Have you ever cheated on your partner?Yeah, I have. It was something I thought I’d never do and I still feel completely disgusted with myself for it. I can tell you with 100% certainty that it’s never going to happen again. The damage I inflicted to others and my own mental stability revealed the cost, and it wasn’t worth it. That, and it’s one of the shittiest fucking things you can do. Don’t ever do it.28 - What kind of music do you listen to?I always think this is a loaded question. I have a last.fm, but I haven’t had my own laptop in so long that there’s nothing recent logged on there, save for maybe the top ones that are usually staples for me—Coheed, Thrice, The Dear Hunter, Pink Floyd, Incubus, The Black Keys, Kanye, etc. For the most part, it’s a shit ton of alternative music. Sometimes I want hardcore/metal. Sometimes I want bluegrass. Sometimes I want hip-hop and dirty rap. Sometimes I want symphonies and classical music, or to go and listen to jazz improv at Bruce Jam on Thursdays (is that a thing anymore?). Rarely, I listen to older country that my mother raised me on. Sometimes it’s one particular artist or band that I binge listen to for a while and then don’t listen to for months, maybe a year or longer, at a time and then the cycle repeats.In general? I like anything with a bomb-ass groove.39 - Do you have any phobias?Spiders and snakes. Fuck them.Also at some point in the past few years I started having horrible nightmares about watching commercial airplanes crashing into nearby buildings and businesses and then running in and digging among the burning wreckage to help survivors and then dying horribly because another plane crashes into me when I’m busy doing that.
