Semester just finished up! Hoping to work on some art for myself in the meantime :)

I’ve had the idea of making a piece inspired by the painting “The Kiss” by Gustave Klimt with Charlie and Stella for a while now. I thought doing a take on a painting where it has been discussed whether or not the love in the original is in vain would be interesting to do with one of my favorite disaster couples lol.

Some progress shots for my storyboard project, COUNTERPART

About the story: COUNTERPART views the world of twin brothers Cooper & Philip, who have had a falling out over the years. When Cooper decides to come home for a family get-together, he notices something is off with his brother & that he isn’t quite himself. With each passing family gathering, he notices subtle changes in his brother that no one else in the family can seem to spot. Eventually, he’ll have to confront Philip & realize that he is not what he seems.

Hope to have more of this completed in the next two weeks, fingers crossed :p
