It had been a long day of training.
Probably too long for most people; but for two nobles with bloodlines blessed by a goddess with unnatural levels of strength....it was nothing. Dimitri was still winded, however, this city having sapped him of a good chunk of that power. Hindered or not, though, he was still a trained man. The sun was low in the sky, casting orange hues all over the Bamboo Grove where there werenât long, deep shadows.Â
Dimitri kicked back in a corner of the field, out of the way of the worst of the suns rays. As if deflated, he let out a huff of air in the process, a breathy laugh punctuating the rest of it. Felix dropped down next to him, leaving just enough space between them to respect personal space. It wouldnât really stay that way for long, Dimitri taking the opportunity to lean his head on Felixâs shoulder. The usual grumbles followed, but Felixâs body felt like it almost relaxed a bit under his touch, and no attempt to push him off was made.
It had been a long time since things were like this. Some sort of emotion welled in him; nostalgia, maybe. Filled his gut and upwards into his chest and jaws with warmth. Felix cast a glance back at him and their eyes met, just for a moment, Felixâs mouth and brows twisting in what Dimitri could only gather was embarassment.
He smiled a bit, trying to restain a chuckle. It was...an endearing face. He looked back again and his mouth twisted around more--Dimitri could feel his own smile widening. (Felixâs eyes looked great in this light, actually, he thought to himself...)
Not breaking eye contact, he took a gloved hand into his own, slipping the heavy cloth off to reveal the skin underneath, pressing his lips to it. (the skin was soft to his lips, even after all this time spent battling...)
The corners of his mouth still visible under the other manâs palm just widened as he watched his reaction.Â
DISCLAIMER: JUST LIKE WHOâS LINE IS IT ANYWAY, THE PLOTâS MADE UP AND THE CONTEXT DOESNâT MATTER
