This is a short rotoscope animation I made for class. My best friend provided me with a video of her kitten for this assignment. I chose a section of the original video to animate on top of. My friend helped me pick the song PP1 by Frakkur as the soundtrack since the song almost sounds like kittens singing. I kept the original from the video source. Horrid project was time consuming but really fun. Glad to surprise the kitten and his family with this treat. This project was made in photoshop using the video function and was animated on 12 fps but was exported in 24fps. Enjoy!

listening to this song and transcending reality rn

whenever I hear PP1 by Frakkur, I start to cry because it reminds me of this cute cat that would be at my old job. she would always meow at me, let me pat her belly, & she seemed to love my colorful socks. I wish I could have taken her when I was fired from there, and it makes me regretful that I didn't, but I guess I didn't want to hear my parents whine to me about having a cat. however, I know it's in good care because there's a lady who takes care of her, so that puts me at ease.
