So I am still ranting about things! I’ll be combining asks and comments into posts and I’ll probably spread these out over a couple of days, because you all gave me such glorious things to rant about!

Dude. DUDE. Fiber arts is the shit. Seriously. So I learned how to crochet when I was 18. My college roommate taught me and I cannot thank her enough. And you know what I love to do more than anything else in the world? CROCHET FOR OTHER PEOPLE.
Seriously. I’ve been crocheting for almost 20 years, and in all that time, I’ve only made one blanket for myself. Everything else I’ve made is for other people, because that is my jam. :D

Volus have been covered, because the volus are fucking AMAZING. So I will rant about volus doing crafts. It makes me think about their suits, and that one volus upgrading his suit in ME2 on Illum.
I bet there’s a whole industry on customizing suits and making them special. Like custom linings in the suit that only the volus can see. Embroided details that can barely be seen with the naked eye. Suits dyed different colors. Leatherwork on their boots. There’s so much that could be done with their suits. And speaking of volus...

I CAN’T EVEN WITH THIS. OMG. Can you just picture a knitting group starting up in the Cargo Bay of the Tempest? Drack, Gil (cause his kid needs hand-knitted goods, too, damnit!), maybe Lexi, and you know Jaal would be all over that. The dude sews. He’d love to knit. (I don’t knit, though. paging @theherocomplex, could Jaal knit with those fused fingers of his?)
And then the group would just sit and talk, or sometimes Liam joins in, too. He doesn’t knit, but he’ll happily wind up yarn for people and give them vids to watch while everyone works. AND IT WOULD JUST BE THE BESTEST THINGS EVER.
