              she thought she'd go see roman at work. while she waited for him, she sat at one of the tables. her fingers ran along the edges of book pages, threatening a paper cut. shifting her form was a thing she did with ease now and did so often, she didn't realize roman wouldn't know it was her.

It was rare that Dominic make an appearance at the warehouse when he wasn't scheduled to fight; but an exhibition of newly recruited talent was enough to draw the insouciant demon out into the throngs of money, alcohol and violence. But, as he idled in the crowd with arms folded tight over a broad chest, the scowl etched on handsome features said it all--he was real unimpressed.

             "i um -- sorry." clumsy idiot, she curses to herself. this was almost like one of those cheesy, predictable rom com. but those don't feature a mortician and a stoner, like this current situation. those had two happy go lucky people. absolutely disgusting. the witch flashed an uncomfortable smile up at the taller boy, feeling her stomach do flips inside her body.               the rom com comes back to mind when her eyes flicker down to his lips. oh no. no, no don't --               she kisses him like the true idiot she is. it's brief before she pulls her lips away from his.               "-- sorry."
