EC is Emotion Commotion, the AU where Mino creates an experiment that gives him emotions which goes incredibly downhill. I intend on scrapping this au since I feel like they’re making Mino with emotions canon in AFCOS which makes me feel like a huge fraud(/gen) so uh yeah (just an fyi though, the AU was made around 2019-2020 meaning it was before afcos started being in dev so PLEASE dont claim I stole the idea for myself it’s the whole reason I intend on deleting it)

GTL is Gateway to Lies, which is the AU that counterpart ixol n yawgate from IAD came from. Mino doesn’t really do much, but she ends up malfunctioning and breaking the AU

FP is Future Past, where after Stratosfear did some shit, all the Points had to go back in time to meet their pre-points and save them from their death.

RS is Role Swapped, where Mino takes Compale’s place! I. Accidentally drew the hand wrong. Please don’t call me out for that.

“YOU DIDN'T TELL ME THE JOB WAS ASSISTANT TO ZAYN FUCKING MALIK HIMSELF!”, he yells into his phone, earning a glare from an old lady passing by. He glares back.

“It went well then?”

Laura’s smile is audible through the line. Niall groans in frustration, still having trouble processing the morning he just had. “As well as you’d expect an interview with him to go. Guy’s a smug bastard.”

Her chuckle breaks a dent into his sour mood. “Wouldn’t have gotten to where he is if he wasn’t, slug. So, did you get it?”

“Was that revenge for me sleeping naked on your couch last week?” Niall replies, skimming away the question until the last possible minute.

“You and Eoghan still owe me a pair of lace panties for that. But, seriously Ni, would you have gone if I had told you?”

“Of course not!” he squeaks, undignified. While actually meeting the guy didn’t turn out to be as he expected it to –not that he ever imagined something like that-, he’s well aware of the rumors surrounding Malik’s ways of treating his personnel. And starting tomorrow at 8, he’s one of them. Fuck.

Just then, his stomach growls, bringing an idea to his head. “That was far worse than me naked bum on your leather piece of furniture. I spent an entire morning of Hell. You owe me lunch, at least.”

“Lucky for you, I’ve been stuck on working hard all morning-”

“Wow.”

“I know,” Laura laughs. “I’ll be getting the ‘Employee of the month’ plaque any second now. And I can take my lunch hour whenever I want. Fish n’ chips?”

He sighs dramatically, lowering his voice for full effect. “You have a lot to make up for.”

She lets out a frustrated sigh. Mission accomplished. “Samosas then?”

His smile is obvious through the line as he replies, “And that, right there, is why you’re my favorite.”

“Zayn, this is Niall Horan. He’s applying for the Executive Assistant spot.”

Niall starts to nod along when Liam’s words register in his brain and- what? That’s not what he had thought at all. An assistant, sure, he had gathered that much from his talk with the woman in HR, but Executive Assistant, as in CEO assistant? From a dark corner of his mind Laura’s I-know-something-you-don’t smiling face comes along and that woman better have her funeral planned ‘cause once Niall gets out of here, she’s a cold body on a plastic bag.

Zayn nods, motioning Liam to leave and giving Niall an onceover once he does. Brown eyes scan him from head to toe. Niall not only feels pinned to the spot but also ridiculously underdressed in his Henley shirt, washed out jeans, and favorite pair of white Supras in comparison to Zayn’s perfectly tailored navy suit with white shirt underneath and deep red tie on top of that.

Black ink peeks from under the cuff of Zayn’s sleeve when he gestures Niall to take a seat.
