So I've reblogged your art before and really loved the way you draw Skitty. I just havta ask: any tips for drawing their eyes? Bc it gives me the hardest time bc I love using expressive eyes and it's a serious challenge lol.
idk what tips i could give on drawing their eyes?? since i’m essentially just drawing them with their eyes closed/squinted all the time. I do use an open eye shape on the sketch layer to help with placement sometimes, but otherwise yeah it’s just closed eyes??
I can’t exactly give advice on making the eyes more expressive since, you know, they’re p much closed. You’ll have to use other parts of the face to really make expressions more varied tbh
