Just remembered another idea that I had for tormenting a Commander. :) Fourth-wall breaking style. And it kinda borrows from the popular manhwa concept of being tossed into a game you've been playing or a story you've been reading.
But it also falls back to the idea of rolling for each of the "stats" in more of a DnD fashion, since GW2 kinda lacks the BG3 kind of aspect. Race, class, story... All of that will be randomized at first—gender Imma lock in to whatever one I end up choosing though probably female because I think my male Commanders still outweigh all my female ones. And appearance will randomize according to how many rolls I have to do with a dice. (And then probably tweak just a little.)
Constantly making remarks about how their story is going now that they've been thrust into the middle of it. With further story choices being made with the mindset of a person who's played to the endgame before but might have also forgotten things that have happened early game because heck, this game is 11 years old.
And honestly, feel free to take this concept if you enjoy it and run with it. Since I've got 20+ Commanders it feels like. Heck, it'd be funny to write it as them just trying to live a normal life and things just keep happening that drag them into the main story. "Hey, neighbor! Can you help me get my feed back from the bandits? I'll give you a pie!" (Reference to a heart though the reward is made-up.)
