Chian knows that his hands are meant to break what can't be fixed thereafter. He knows he doesn't deserve the beautiful kindness that lights Fourmod's smile whenever he so much as glances at him, or the gentle innocence he lays down with each kiss they share in the dingy alleys behind his dorm. He doesn't deserve the filth either, the anger that seeps through Fourmod's cheeks, or the way his voice cracks when he learns his emotions aren't welcome somewhere.
What's he to do now that he has what he doesn't deserve? Admit to it? Leave? What good does that do him? None. So he does what he can instead- holds him close and lets him breathe, at least till Fourmod knows it too, that he'd be better alone.
