the eyelids are still pretty nasty and they don't have their eyebrows attached yet, but it's still looking pretty good imo

went ahead and finished up with the tentacles
probably gonna do a bit more with the scalp and little-bitty spots(you can kinda barely see them), but all the painting is done :3c
okay, so I think a lot of the super obvious artifacting is something with eevee rather than a texture issue
eevee on the left, cycles on the right; the eevee renderer leaves weird, barely visible lines in the normals that aren't there in cycles
but, there were some other issues in the eye normal maps that I needed to fix anyway, so yea I still wound up going back and forth a bunch lol
