It's alright to feel that way Four, especially when where you come from is suddenly depicted to be like an alternate universe than what you remember. If it frustrates you so much or upsets you then how about you make our own content of what it was like? Like drawing or writing, explaining the whereabouts of how your universe worked? I'm sure people out there would be interested and willing to listen but no pressure, whatsoever.
soooooo im a four fictkin and i'm starting to notice i can't bring myself to interact with PaSverse content. the show itself and the extra stuff around it are Objectively Good; i watched the first episode of PaS and it was Very Good from a quality standpoint there is love and care in it, it's just that the worldbuilding and lore directly contradict what i remember from my time in the equation playground and it freaks me out. i know that's a silly reason to be even somewhat uncomfy with it but everything about it feels extremely uncanny to me. imagine a simulacrum of the neighborhood you grew up in where everything, and i mean everything, is ever so slightly - and yet ever so resoundingly - wrong, and people with the names of those you know but the bodies and minds of total strangers interact with "people" who never existed in the first place.
(i'm sorry if this sounded meanspirited, i didn't mean this to be negative to anyone.)

That's completely understandable four, at times it can be like this. Often even you have to get your head around these kinds of things because it's like suddenly very alien to what you remember/recall. I can imagine how confusing that must be. This doesn't sound mean spirited by the way! It's just you explaining your thought process. Which, that's okay to do so. I hope you are doing alright though after all of that confusion.π
