I really liked this book. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because, for me, it started kind of slow. But once it started, I couldn’t put it down. I just had to finish and know what went on. It’s based on a true crime happening in 1800’s. It’s so sad. I felt so bad for the young girl who is the main character. I would recommend to anyone who likes crime mysteries. Throughout the book, there is some language. Not all the way through, but on occasion. There is occasional cursing and taking the Lord’s name in vain. Just wanted to let those who watch out for that to know.
