#foundations challenge

I finally finished the Squire’s lot......well, as much as I can finish until they get some animals and seeds from the trader. I took these pics so that @niamh-sims could get a better view. They are a part Scottish/ part Viking family, Fergus, Brighid, the Lady of the house, and their beautiful daughter Cineád. Brighid is trying to get pregnant with a son. 

Finally got my Squire family moved out of the camp and into their own house. This is only house that will be mostly furnished. It’s been awhile since I created any medieval buildings, I forgot how fun it is!

That was an interesting read! I like the way a class-system is integrated into the challenge. Also the allowances for different types of houses are a good idea - I always struggle with how much I should get from buymode for realistic decor and how comfortable a house should be.

Yeah, Banished doesn’t really have a class system per se. But the way I play it, there are usually a few families that have nicer houses than the others- a stone house vs. a wooden one. Or, if you play with mods (which of course I do) there are typically larger houses which allow the bannies to have more kids. I always seem to put my farm workers in slightly crappier houses than the workers that are more trade-based.
