#found annotations

Found in one of my great grandmother’s books. She collected anything she found interesting and it’s likely the writing in pencil is not hers. I can’t make out the annotator’s name, but they seem to have written the phrase, “Cupid came and caught one” many times throughout the book. Perhaps they turned to a book of mythology for romantic advice. The annotations also label one illustration of Themis as “Mamie”.
