Piebald shows up as white patches on the skin of the animal, sometimes making them completely white, other time making splotches like this fawn has. It can show up in most animals and does in humans as well. The underlying genetic cause is related to a condition called Leucism.

It like its Kin have tusks and small antlers that grown from bony stocks that protrude above their foreheads. Muntjacs fight for territory and defend themselves not with their antlers but with their more dangerous tusks. They have even been know to fight off dogs and small predators, their small size does not keep them from being vicious.
