💬 There was Only One Enemy
It was boring, which was something the android hated. He'd been sent on a mission to retrieve data for Operator 210. As usual, she didn't want to talk. He sighed and kicked a rock. She just wasn't any fun. Any attempt at idle chatter was thwarted every time.
Something rustled in the bushes. An animal? He moved in closer for a better look, and was met with the glowing red eyes of a machine. 'Piece of cake,' he thought to himself as he prepared to hack it. Another movement caught his attention, and he jumped back out of the machine's immediate range. Much to his surprise the rustling came from a... a man?! He certainly wasn't an android.
"H.. hey!" Nines was so excited that he forgot about the little machine heading his way. He waved to the man and started to approach. "I never thought I'd see a human out here." "Analysis: The human holds a weapon. Proposal: offer assistance in destroying the small biped," Pod 153 suggested. "Oh, yeah. Sir, do you need our help?"
