The hour had grown late and both he and James were still up working on the proposal they were trying to get through parliament. Thomas and James both were exhausted and it was starting to show. Sitting side by side at the desk, they poured over documents and bickered over politics. Nothing major, just Thomas’ idealistic views of the world and James’ real world experience colliding with one another. One of the servants had brought them some fruit with whipped cream to eat as they worked.

Thomas could watch James talk all night, about anything and everything. He was a work of art, a rare gem in the rough, and by some sort of divine intervention, he was his. He smirked as he saw James yawn before taking a piece of fruits and eating it, before continuing his thought.

There was no point in them continuing tonight, they were both so tired they couldn’t see straight. Thomas decided to pull the plug on the situation. Taking the container of whipped cream, when James wasn’t paying attention he put a gob of it in his hand, waiting for the right moment.

James was talking about the struggles of what was going to face Nassau were they to be successful as Thomas pointed at a page before spreading the whipped cream across his face. When James looked at him, he licked one of his fingers as he watched James. “I think you’ve got something there.”

“So. . . . are you saying that if Davy Jones wears a wig you’re against it? Seems a bit bias, mate,” 

Okay this might be a bit of a long post, but like guys. GUYS. The kiss is a frustrated one, something close to anger, perhaps even RAGE. A similar rage he is certain Flint is familiar with. It is not kind, but demanding because John Silver is tired. Tired of it all. His hands, fists, are clutching onto his Captain’s coat with intent. ‘ see what I’ve become. look at your masterpiece ‘. Lips furious, more teeth than anything.

I’ve spoken in regards to this with @nolongermcgraw but like, honestly? All joking aside the sheer flawness quality that comes out of this fandom is fucking S T A G G E R I N G. Especially when it comes to @fortunadellaquila and @perfectmetaphore. You guys constantly amaze me on how amazing you write and how much you two really embody your characters. It only has made me strive to be the best Thomas I can and I super hope that I do him enough justice for you guys. It’s really inspired me to put more into my writing and I hope maybe one day I can be as good as you guys. I mean that.
