The Form & Origin project is a research of the Evolution of Technology of Japanese Ceramic, conducted in Japan during a period of eight months in 2014.
The aim of this research project was to provide a practical fieldwork exchange of ceramic technology between Japan and Mexico. Adapting this knowledge to the local craftsmen context and prepare for further ceramic technology research in Mexico; focus on material research, techniques and processes.
The Form & Origin collection and research project was supported by the Japan International Cooperation AgencyΒ΄s fellowship program < Modern Design and Traditional Culture & Craftsmanship > , the Mexican council of Science & Technology (Conacyt) and the Kyoto Institute of Technology.
