On our morning rush school drop-off..

F: mama, fathi rasa ni mama mcm genius lah

M: oo yeke. Nape fathi rasa mcmtu *beaming proudly*

F: yela sejak fathi kecik mama ajar fathi macam2. Pasal aeroplane, pasal countries around the world, pasal orang2 famous..

M: aw thank you fathi for thinking about me that way 😅

I’m glad fathi had that perception about me. I hope he always remembers that way about me 😂

And during the following afternoon when i picked him up from school; he still talked about how his mom is so pandai 😂. Ala rugi tak take note awal now I forgot all about it already.

Haih fathi is so angelic when he’s in good mood haha

One of the signs mama is in a good mood is the sight of stackable empty laundry baskets. It simply means mama had summited Mount Kinabaju that day!

I had not folded laundry for more than 7 days during recent school holidays. Imagine the hassle and trouble of digging up the big pile just to look for a tiny pair of socks.

There were 5 basketful of laundry and we tried our best avoiding the sight whenever we caught a glimpse of them. Just a sore to the eyes.

One day fathi came to me and said. Mama why don’t u fold one basket at a time. U don’t have to do it all at once. One basket, take a break. And fold another basket.

Haha that was exactly what I said to him when he dread doing so many pages of homework 😅 not expecting those words will be used against me.

I read so many times before that our words become our kids’ inner voice. And today is a testament for that.

I saw F1 the movie with Amru the other day, during his long weekend break. It was my 3rd time watching 😅 the previous two were with different people. As usual watching technical movies like this is always fun with amru.

Mama do you know that..

1. Verstappen got his F1 license way before he got his real drivers license

2. If you ever blink during your F1 race you will lose 20 meters. Every blink will cost you 20meters visual loss.

3. See the tires aren’t ridged so they have maximum contact with the track.

One morning..

A: Mama, how to be a minister?

M: *gasped* hmm do u remember bulan May last time when Mama had to choose one of the flags?

A: yeah.

M: So whoever gets chosen the most will win, and then if he’s lucky he gets to be a minister of this country.

Nina: amru nak jadi minister ke nanti?

A: Aah.

Nina: wah semoga ada la cucu nina yang jadi minister esok ni. Amru jadi minister drpd parti amanah ye.

M: tak kisah la flag apa asalkan amru jadi minister yang berwibawa ok? *tetiba mama defensive*😂

A: sebenanye sebab amru nak naik limousine..

(recalling the books we read last night about prophet Yusuf who became a minister. And also fathi’s books about types of cars and vehicles and there was a limousine in the book - and the boys asked what kind of person yang ada limousine…etc and mama related with minister from cerita prophet yusuf etc..)

And as usual fathi broke from his silence and asked a totally random question.

F: mama, macamana kita boleh ada suara?
