Hey! Umm, probably one of the more influential food books I've read was The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan. Slow in some parts, but a great read. Along the same vein but easier to finish quickly is The Town That Food Saved by Ben Hewitt. I'm currently reading Coming Home To Eat by Gary Paul Nabhan. He's local to Arizona as am I, so that one may not be as interesting for you? Happy reading and good luck! One a month. We can do this :)

I will have to look more into these, when the time comes for me to read them! In the mean-time, they shall be immortalized on my blog so I can find them again! :) [Note to self: The Town That Food Saved had the most interesting excerpt to you.]
Thanks so much for your suggestions!
