a/n: hello!!! sorry this is late, i got so busy the past couple days, but trust- all i could think about was this lol

summary: just going over what the people from reader’s home planet look like!!

okay, they do not literally have tails haha. it’s just a figure of speech for being on edge! kinda like a cat when they feel threatened or scared. just the vibe

as addressed in previous chapters, all zorthanians have a marking of initials on their left ribs! it’s not a tattoo, more like a branding mark that gets used on cattle.

zorthanians have visible blaschko lines! if you don’t know what they are, it’s basically the lines that follow the pathways of skin cells, just theirs are visible! we all have them, only some people have their pathways visible. i think they’re beautiful! i encourage you to look them up :)

anyway, some are definitely more visible than others!! reader’s are mostly visible on their torso!

they have sharper canines, not for eating because obv they don’t have access to much meat in their day-to-day lives unless they’re an elite. they’re actually used for self defense! there’s some pretty gnarly predators on zorthan, especially in reader’s area. it’s why being a medic is so handy

when simon gets thrown into the picture, they bond over their teeth! grace is truly fascinated by the both of you and never stops asking questions

sometimes simon will have to drag you away so you can have some alone time without being bombarded. you both know grace means well

THEY CAN SEE IN THE DARK!!! their eyes glow!!! yall better be ready for when grace sees this holy shit

sense of smell goes crazy tbh. they’re hypersensitive to strong smells

they have incredible hearing, so grace really has no personal space anymore :/ sorry pal.

their ears have a slight point, unnoticeable unless you’re looking for it specifically!!

i have a heart condition, so that is the extent of my knowledge in chronic illnesses.

he would be sooooo patient and sweet

this man is the definition of a sweetiepie

if you’re having a bad day, he’s on top of it

my symptoms are dizziness, fatigue, lightheaded, headache, fainting, and a rapid heart rate when i move/stand up too fast, and i get suuuuper jittery

he has them memorized along with triggers!

makes sure you take your meds on time and are hydrated!!!

don’t even ATTEMPT to have any caffeine around him. he will quite literally slap it out of your hands “um?? what do you think you’re doing? do you want to pass out? go to the hospital??”

he will try his best to prevent any symptom before they can happen, but he is just a man with pure intentions and can’t always stop them

you have a headache? he immediately has some meds and a cold press for you! and he would absolutely let you lay on him while you rested and he would run his hands up and down your back

using his tummy as a pillow>>>>> (not entirely related to the point, i just love his tummy)

you get dizzy? babe, you’re already leaning on him before the feeling even hits you. his arm would be wrapped around your waist while the other one comes up to hold the hand closed to him

you faint? this poor boy is so so worried. you come to shortly after, confused as all hell, and he’s right over you- hands shaking and some tears on his waterline as he helps you sit up “are you okay honey? i stopped you before you could hit the ground. let’s get you on the couch, yeah?” voice soft as hell with gentle touch as he guides you to sit down “do you need anything? water?” “some water and you would be just fine, baby” a kiss to the forehead, and a water later- the man is all yours

he would need cuddles after to make sure you’re absolutely okay. his hand shake as he cards them through your hair. he’d cup a cheek and press a lingering kiss to your forehead and a deep sigh leaving his nose. “scared me” voice all muffled from being pressed to your head “m’sorry baby. thank you for taking care f’me” words all slurred and sleepy

please tell him he’s doing a good job taking care of you. he’s constantly worried he’s not doing good enough. he’s doing the best ever!

if he sees you crouching down to grab, or look at something, he’s right next to you so he can help you up. he doesn’t want you to get lightheaded or faint.

say you have a bad day when he’s not home. if he comes home and you’re laying on the couch or you have that jitter in your chest, he’ll immediately scold you for not calling him “we’ve been over this; if you don’t feel good you have to call me honey. i’m serious, i wanna take care of you” the pout on his face is usually enough for you to cave

say you have a bad day when he’s not home and you call him- he is rushing home from wherever he is. work, the store, karin and gus’- he will be there as quick as possible. “honey? i’m here! please tell me you didn’t faint-“

he just loves you and wants the best for you. let him take care of you.

HEY??? yes omg id be honored!! if i had a nickel for every time someone made fanart based off of my fics, i’d have 4. which is not a lot, but it’s insanely awesome that it’s happened this many times.

okay, i am insanely inclusive! draw them however you’d like. the only things that are essential for the fics are they wear glasses. it’s also preferred they’re shorter than grace and simon just bc it comes into play, but not very often, so it’s all good. they have scars! all over their arms, back, and legs. and they have one on their right eyebrow from when they were a child and hit their face on a stair lol. i personally imagine reader to have roughly shoulder length hair that is mildly curly, but that’s just me :)

but other than that, reader is for YOU to decided everyone!
