“Yeah definitely! I have optimism in my dad and his business. He’s been running it well so far, I doubt much will change that!” She grinned. Her smile faded a bit, as she thought about the other part of the question. “Well, being happy is definitely more fun than being a pessimist, but I do think there are times when you just can’t be happy. Sometimes you gotta hurt.”
Ann gives simple shrug. It would be a shame if she knew someone was hurting, but she didn’t know it. As cliche as it was to say no one’s perfect, it was true. There were times when you alone can’t pick up all the broken pieces.
