As it grew cold and the snow started to flow, 

You told me to start taking it slow because 

I was too hard on myself,  and

You couldn't stand to watch me get hurt. 

When the winds started blowing

I wasn't blown away,  but I

Stayed anchored right next to you and

As  as it sounds, 

You had me blown away. 

So the rains came 

our love remained the same, 

Some say it became deeper,  but

We stayed indoors together and

It was easy being with you. 

We fought more,  touched more and talked less,  then

We fought less,  touched more and talked more. 

That made me miss the buoyancy we had a couple of months back,
