(To elaborate: Obviously i know things in the files have been referred to with the word "Goner" like the vessel and Goner Kid from undertale, and the implied connection all these grayscale NPCs have for this reason—But if these things, as cool as they are, will ever be confirmed to be something significant, has always felt very muddy for me. Same goes for them ever actually being explained in any way, I've just never been sure at all...)
