Lux absolutely despised being away from her partner. She was naturally a very emotional and almost clingy person, so when she’d been informed that her partner would be going away for work, well, she didn’t like it to say the least. After much debate, it was decided that Lux would put her own opinions aside and let them go without making it any harder. Her one request was that they would Skype as often as possible, to make the distance easier to cope with.

She had been sitting at her computer for almost half an hour, anxiously awaiting the notification that would announce that her partner had come online. Finally she heard it, the soft little ping that made her heart race.

“Hey you! I missed you today!”
