「 🌸It felt like months since the last time she had seen Hubert. With things finally settling down, she took a trip to Strahta. It was nice to have transport through the awful desert this time. She would prefer to forget the horrid memory of entering a monster's system. Something the Captain occasionally still teased her about.
She brightly smiled as she saw Hubert. She knew she should have sent a letter, informing him she'd be coming, but the idea of surprising him was too great to pass up. Seeing the kid she once knew grow to become such an important man still felt surreal. And like his brother, she was proud of him. ❝ Hubert! ❞ She called out as she approached, basket in hand.
❝ It's been a while, hasn't it? I brought you some apples from the tree in Lhant. I'm sure they're as delicious as you remember. So, tell me. Have you been eating well? Sleeping alright? I hope you're taking it easy when you can. I thought we could catch up a little if you're not busy. ❞ She didn't mean to bombard him. 」
