I am one of those people who really dislike having to use electronics that use disposable batteries. This just one of the reasons I really love this callus remover, it is rechargeable and the motor is very strong. You can use this on your feet if they are wet or dry. I would not recommend using this in the tub or shower, but if you want to use it on wet feet, it will not hurt this unit. My husband also uses this on his hands for his calluses and really likes it. It is easy to change the roller and it comes with a replacement roller as well at the cord and a great manual.
