Winter season is almost here! The time around late October and early November spells indulgence for many - anything warm and decadent catches our fancy instantly. The joy of having a bowlful of cheesy decadent snack while tucked inside a blanket is above all.

We love our dals to an extent that we can have them throughout the day and in as many ways as possible. Lentils are incredibly versatile, which is why India boasts of so many dal-based delicacies from all over the country. From dal makhani of Punjab to chana dal of Bengal, there are innumerable classics that affirm our love for dals.

There are only three things children need in life food, water and love. Uganda is a land-locked country in East Africa with a population of 38 millions, majority are youths and children. Most families in rural areas base on agriculture but sadly poverty still limits people’s access to nutritious food. To reduce malnutrition rates in the areas where they remain high, God's care children Foundation Uganda is providing vulnerable children with specialized nutritious food, communication aimed at promoting the consumption of more nutritious food.
