Today, in this rapid change in lifestyle, time has become essential.  Moreover, I think it will continue to happen as long as lifestyle changes. Change in lifestyle has also changed eating habits. People are looking for more ready to eat and ready to heat kind of food, and This has led to a change in food-processing industries. Today, the food-processing industry is one of the largest industry in India. It will evolve a lot more in coming time. With no time to cook food, consumers are paying, even more, to get in handy food. People are getting the sufficient nutrients they want for their sustenance. The demand for processed food will increase even more with time. Now, talking about the opportunities, a potential for the coming entrepreneurs is seen in the sector of the food-processing industry in coming years, and it would be an excellent area to invest. Because with time, the industry is going to evolve further, and I would like to see how it is going to evolve and right now in my experience, change in urban lifestyle is one factor which contributes. I think there are other factors too. Also, once I get to understand the factors and how the industry has been evolving, I think it will help me understand the future of the food- processing industry.

Business is one of the domains I am interested in. the interest developed because of an urge of creating more opportunities for others instead of being the one looking for it. so I wanted to understand what are the possible domains where the scope of business lies in coming years. but I thought it would be too broad to cover it in 16 weeks and therefore it further lead me to a direction where I would like to understand how a particular industry would evolve in the coming years. Also, it would be too expanded if I study every geographical location so I chose to come down to India. I thought to move with food-processing industry because I found out that it is one of the largest industries and also has been ranked fifth in terms of production.  so I want to know how it is going to evolve further when urban India changes, with time.  taking the example of maggie, when it came it became one of the fashionable food because of it getting cooked in two-minutes which was because of the change in the lifestyle of people and now, when it has become a faster life,  it changed into cuppa noodles and it was easily adapted by people and that brought comfort to their lives. it was just a reference and now I would like to see what will happen to the processed food further and how does the industry gradually change concerning the change in urban India. urban India because it is where the processed food is being consumed mostly.  if I get to understand the evolvement of the industry, it would get easier for the business people to understand and plan in this field. I would start with understanding urban India and the evolution of urban India and speculate how it would further change and then I will study the evolution of the food-processing industry and understand the simultaneous change which happened. and then I would be able to speculate how it will further evolve.
