I had a go at this tutorial this week. Soulcat is a very efficient painter and I’d like to think with a bit more practice I could get like that too. I searched up fruit on pinterest and made a study an a pear and berries pic I found:
The highlight for me was colour matching. I enjoyed trying to figure what the colour was. I learned a lot about observation from it. I also began using the tourbox during this study. It’s made switching between tools flow better.
I’m also watching a few tutorial videos on Youtube to help me get more familiar with the Adobe programs. The sliced and scribbled text was made after watching Nobu Design’s video, also the phrase is “Lavender candle is life” was provided by a friend who is recently very into lavender candles lol
