Word had spread through Midgand about a wicked witch that had taken a whole town for herself. It was a village that once got trader goods but due to the rumors merchants have tried to avoid passing through to not get cursed. The rumors should be just that, rumors, but this got the interest of a self-proclaimed witch.
âThereâs no point in us going. Weâll be wasting time.â
Near the docks, six adventurers were discussing among themselves about going to the village to investigate. The daemons Velvet and Rokurou, Malakhim Laphicet and Eizen, an ex-exorcist Eleanor, and the witch of the group, Magilou. Velvet was against this, not out of fear but more as in not having anything to gain from this detour.
âCanât you find it in your heart my dear, Velvet? A witch is up staging a true witch!â Magilou exclaimed, but wasnât really getting any votes.
Eizen sighed as Magilou was very stubborn with this. His frustration caught the witchâs eye however.
âEizen, witches can be known for casting curses, I would know. Perhaps we could find reversal if this is legit. Help rid your curse?â Magilou worked to convince him.
âIf that is true, why donât you do it?â Eizen asked.
âUgh! You all are impossible!â Magilou shouted.
The samurai, Rokurou, did come up with an idea. He wouldnât some adventuring, but he knew he would most likely be left behind if it was just him and Magilou. âIf we were able to secure the village, we could use it as our own personal trading center. Maybe even have it as another base for us.â
âThat... Could work,â Eizen said.
âYouâre really suggesting we go?â Eleanor asked, finding it easy to convince Eizen.
âAnd Eizen is the first mate, sooo,â Magilou trailed off as she knew getting two on her side meant...
And that is where everyone was heading to, a town said to be cursed by a witch. What mysteries awaited them? Only time could tell as they draw closer to their destination on foot.
