Creating more folded form structures using folding techniques to create square shapes. I then went over the paper and it's folds using crayons to allow them to stand out more. Experimenting with shapes and colours.

Making another paper plane but this time using the largest size of paper that I had available to me which was approximately around A2. The paper itself was very thin and floppy which added to this unsuccessful attempt at creating a large plane. It flew the distance of around half a metre before flimsily falling to the ground. If it would have been accessible to me using thicker paper/card may have ensured the flight of the plane to run more smoothly and last longer.

Kicking off the folded forms workshop with creating various paper airplanes whilst monitoring how far they flew and how successful the flight was. Taking close up photographs of the various folds that I had to make. Also manipulating the paper in such a way that the plane loses it's usual functionality - has it lost purpose all together or has it now gained a new function? I also used one of my envelope poems to create a small paper plane, due to various open pockets and creases which made the flight of this plane in particular a fail as it spiralled to the ground - becoming a stranger to its usual function - what we expect of it.
