my fiancé juST OFFHANDEDLY TOLD ME THEY READ FOIBLE THIS MORNING I HAVE OFFICIALLY GIRLBOSSED TOO CLOSE TO THE SUN
One of the saddest tendencies in our present culture is an indignant intolerance for the basic humanity of being human … And yet the eternal test of character — our great moral triumph — is the ability to face our own imperfections with composure, reflecting on them with lucid and luminous determination to do better — an essential form of moral courage all the more difficult, and all the more important, amid a cultural atmosphere that mistakes self-righteousness for morality and suffocates the basic impulse toward betterment with punitive intolerance for human foible.

Downloaded Melodyne trial so I did a vocal cover of foible and tuned it
It’s not too good.
But this is still my first... okay cover by my standards I guess. Because of the tuning.
Off vocal from here

Prompt #21 - Foibles
“Bookworm!”
“Get your head out of the clouds!” “Why can’t you just be normal, Aly?” The young child looked up from her book with a crooked brow. She couldn’t comprehend why the other kids in the village had turned their scorn upon her. It wasn’t like she’d done anything to earn it. All she was doing was reading in the shade of the palm while she waited for her father to be done with the nets. That way, they could walk home together.

FFXIVWrite2020 - Prompt 21 - Foible
Each of them had their own quirks that was for sure, though Ahja highly doubted that anyone outside of the sisters would call them ‘quirks’. Sins maybe to their enemies, foibles, if they wanted to sound smart or just plain old weaknesses to most. Yeah everyone in the Dutiful Sisters of the Edelweiss had their own thing, granted a lot of them seemed to have to do with food Ahja observed from her perch in the corner of the room.
She sharpened her knives, watching the others. V’kebbe had a soft spot for food from the Bismark, Peri had similar tastes. Jacke was difficult to tell, but Ahja had seen him hidden away a time or two with a bodice ripper novel that she was sure he’d rather keep the rest of the guild from knowing about. As for her? Ahja rather prided herself on being a mystery, but she supposed that could be her weakness. She kept herself apart from the others, was standoffish, any of the above. It didn’t matter to her, if they thought that was her weakness, it was only to her benefit.

But feel free to call me Foible Pippenpaddleopsocopolis Noteworthy if the fancy strikes you.
