Time to piss off all those cable deniers again. I just received my silver coated copper balanced cable for my Focal Elear’s from Alan Lovell and damn, what a nice job. The cable is beautiful - well built, not a hair out of place, and, incredibly, here from the UK only 6 days after being shipped. And (here we go), this cable is an improvement over the Periapt cable that was included with my Elear’s (they were used - barely - but the original cable wasn’t included). Opening today’s listening time (pre work) with this Groove Note SACD gem - Ray Brown’s “Soular Energy.” Not pictured are my Focal Elear headphones, mostly because I’m wearing them....lol. Still trying to get a handle on the sound of the Focal’s. They aren’t my Audeze LCD-2C, that for sure, but they do offer some similarities along with a different overall presentation. The Focal Elear are full of detail, I can say that.
