John & Alexander ☣ A study in direction.
☣ — New York University.
A wide, bright place for the youth learning. Colourful, brilliant, interesting, yet utterly tedious if you hadn’t the slightest idea where to go.
Alexander let out a sigh, dragging one hand through his spiked coal locks, scowling to no one in particular, well, if there would have been anyone here he would have ran to them and kissed them at this point. The first day as transfer to this new school for teaching, and he was going to be late. Not the start the young male had really been hoping for.
Turning on his heels, the studying teacher spotted and proceeded along the hallway towards a set of unoccupied chairs. Good, at least he wouldn't have to stand around waiting for someone ...
Actually, it didn't take even half of the time Alexander was expecting before he heard the familiar, strong gait of footsteps-- most probably a male's, judging by the sound and estimated weight of the form, sounding from the opposite end of the hall.
Hello. Deep hue eyes narrowed an inch as he struggled to examine the tall man currently striding up towards him. From his neat suit and tie, it was more than obvious to determine that the stranger was either teaching in the University, or having another position within the school-- important, from the looks of things, or from Alexander's point of view, at least. Standing to full height, the dark brunette straightened out of polite common courtesy, waiting until the other was close in front of him before introducing himself.
"Hello, sir, my name is Alexander Aldridge, I'm the new assistant- training Physics teacher," he began, eyes softening and lips curling up in a greeting smile, revealing the slightest hint of pearly white teeth below.
"Unfortunately, my sense of direction isn't the best, and I was wondering if you could tell me how to get to my new classroom?"
