here’s two of the paintings i made in my painting 1 class (va 223) this semester. the single square is 1x1 ft (one of four technical projects) and it has the same ref image as my other painting (one of two final projects) with the 9 squares (2x2 ft). i built the 2x2 ft canvas myself in class. my painting teacher asked us all to choose someone important to us to paint and originally, i was gonna paint my gf, but she didn’t feel comfortable with that so i decided to paint patrick instead.

so patrick, i just wanna say thanks for being my hero and my inspiration. i strive to be able to create music like you one day and i hope that maybe (maybe) we can work together on music in the future. and that i’ll get to show you all the art i’ve made of you, too.

I decided to take my boring old school notebooks and paint them inspired by Fall Out Boy albums! I love Infinity On High and the album cover is so cool, and I had to do Mania, obviously. Happy very belated birthday Infinity On High!

(As I’m sure you can tell, I did not paint the moon. I printed and glued it because I thought it looked really cool!)
