“ahri-yah,” she called out to the other girl as the three of them exited off of the stage during the last test run of sweet crazy love. they would have to go back out to give the actual televised performance in a while, but fortunately they had a little bit of time to relax backstage in one of the waiting rooms. akira had honestly underestimated just how long days as an idol could be. they had been at the music show since the early hours of the morning for hair and makeup and they hadn’t even filmed their televised performance yet and it was reaching midday. it was a lot of work, but she found herself enjoying it more than not.
“let me fix your mic pack,” she added as an explanation, coming up behind her and adjust the small, black box so that it was strapped to the waistband of her shorts, more securely than it was before. “i noticed it slipping while we were performing.” she rubbed her back affectionately before patting her on the shoulder. “you did good out there.” as much as akira didn’t really want to be apart of a group when she debuted, she did care a great deal for the girls that she had trained with, and wanted them to feel confident and self assured in their performing abilities. they were a team after all, and when they were all on their A-game, they all shined brighter individually and together.
