Lightheart the Kind loses his last life and dies.  Starryeyes dies as well, leaving the legate position vacant.  Without a Commander or a legate there is now a power vacuum in the Colony. There are four factions: those who want Northridge to become the new Commander, those who want Eastwind to become the new Commander, those that want Southblaze to become the new Commander, and those that want Westwave to become the new Commander. These factions are called Nordskov, Aston, Sutherland, and Westbrook respectively.

Seedwhisper, Muddyfish, Riverstep, Hollowsun, Hareface, Blackbriar, Snailwing, Pebblestorm, Shypaws, Tabbynose, and Robinnose die. 

Coot dies as a tenderpaw and is given the name Cootskip.

Squill dies as a tenderpaw and is given the name Squillpelt.

Drizzle dies as a tenderpaw and is given the name Drizzleheart.

Shrike dies as a tenderpaw and is given the name Shrikespring.

Sprucestorm becomes pregnant with Snowtalon’s kittens and moves into the nursery.
