Bay could tell there was something different about her son from the moment he was born; she couldn’t articulate exactly why, but every person who came into contact with him – nurses, doctors, family members, friends, or otherwise – didn’t want to let him go. Sure, he was a cute baby (have you seen who his parents are?), but it was a step further than that…it was like there was something magnetic about him. As Beau began to grow, so did this force within him. Bay found it difficult to scold him, and even more difficult to tell him no.
Soon after Flynn became a larger part of Beau’s life, Bay and Flynn did some research; eventually they came to the conclusion that their son had to have some form of enhanced charisma. Flynn thinks this increased level of charm is hysterical, and likes to joke to Bay that, when Beau is older, it’ll help him get all of the ladies. Bay used to find it funny, but now she can’t help but roll her eyes anytime he brings it up (every joke gets old eventually).
Who They Like Better :
This is probably the touchiest of topics for these three. For the first four years of his life, Beau had no relationship with his father, so he obviously preferred the company of his mother – he didn’t know any better. After Bay agreed for Flynn to take on the role of father for their son, though, Beau practically flipped in the other direction. Suddenly, he wanted to learn everything he could about Flynn – his favorite dinosaur, and ice cream flavor, and spot to snuggle – and spent every waking minute by his side. To say that Bay was a little hurt would be the understatement of the century, but soon enough, the boy gravitated back to the center, learning to appreciate both his parents equally. They’re an…awkward family, to say the least, but Bay and Flynn are making it work for Beau’s sake.
Who They Take After More :
Despite not meeting Flynn until after turning four, Beau is practically a mini-version of his father. He is charming, courageous, and even has the world-famous Fizherbert smolder down to a science. Beau also takes after his father in that he has an innate craving to be the hero, to be the knight in shining armor, to save any and everyone he can. It reminds Flynn of his childhood, but so much has changed since then; when this “hero complex” comes to the attention of Flynn, he makes sure to have a serious discussion with Beau about it. The best way to be a hero, he tells Beau, is to help others become their own heroes.

It was never supposed to be this way. Just one night with the cute guy from the bar, that was all Bay had wanted: to start her life away from home off right, to start the year with a bang, and she did – a few bangs actually – but when she woke up the next morning before him, and happened to stumble upon his WDA Teacher ID, well…Bay bolted without a second thought.
It seemed, though, that the girl could only run so far. Four weeks later, she was two weeks late (and Bay was never late), and she knew.
That night where she’d unknowingly played into the sexual stereotype of “hot for teacher”?
They certainly hadn’t been as careful as she remembered.
Terrified of what might happen if she told (not to mention, how he’d feel about the whole thing), she kept the identity of her child’s father to herself. She made it through the year, kept up with her classes pretty well, and deflected questions about the nature of her pregnancy as best she could.
And it was a week after she’d returned to California that Beau was born.
Bay took a leave of absence from school for a year to really take care of him – and herself – but soon returned to Buena Vista and WDU to continue her education. She was careful, cautious, avoided the high school portions of the school at all costs, but you can only hide from the truth for so long, and, soon after Beau’s fourth birthday, the two of them were traversing the cereal aisle of the grocery store when Beau walked straight into him, literally.
