Momoâs complied all this time, and now inhales sharply as they come to a halt. â Wh--? â Is all sheâs able to voice as arms scoop her and whirl her every which way in what feels like the blink of an eye. Correction: it might have only been the blink of an eye as they whoosh and whiz their way through the elevator and its shaft. Although, Momoâs more than certain she hasnât contributed much of anything to his heroic deeds.
For a long moment, she falls silent. Her chest feels heavy with the deep gasps she inhales. Windswept hair and pounding heart rate, she looks up to him with shocked eyes. She couldnât describe whatâs happened in the past twenty seconds sheâs known him. But the loud roaring of an unsuspended elevator gives her a good idea of all thatâs come to pass. Her eyes are glued to him, and hands cling tightly as she assesses their situation. Then the sudden BANG echoes with finality.
All thatâs between her and a similar fate to the elevatorâs is this Oat character whoâs already butchered her name. Normally, this would be enough to make her sigh, but her attention shifts to the more pressing circumstances at hand. Suspended in the air, dangling at the mercy of a metal cord thatâs already proven less than capable.
The obvious first step was to ensure their stability. â Iâll need you to hang on there for a minute, Oat... â Although, she recognized he didnât have much an option. The lower hem of her shorts tore as a ladder began to form there. This ladder would be particularly excessive in height, which called for a long beat of a moment as her lips pressed to an awkward line. She had to turn her head away as well (hopefully he didnât receive a mouthful of her ponytail). â Bigger objects take a longer amount of time... â She explained, as the ladder formed in full.
Unfortunately though, her hands were a bit tied at the moment (more specifically wrapped around him rather helplessly). â I think weâll have to move together to make sure neither of us lose balance. â Although, she wasnât sure balance was an issue for someone with his speedy reflexes. â We can line it up with the doors, then Iâll make something to pry our way out! Let me know when youâre ready... â
