this is for the one person who liked my rhaenys/corlys pokemon au thoughts
First go at teams! Rhaenys is on the left and Corlys is on the right.
they each have one pokemon with each others main type (Carracosta for Rhaenys and Dreadnaw for Corlys!)
Main Mons -
Druddigon - Meleys
Gyrados - Amphrite
Corlys’s Milotic is nicknamed after Rhaenys (Nyssa) he gets reminded of her beauty and strength each time she battles with him
I gave Rhaenys mons I thought would fit her kinda closed off personality but also her loyalty and strength
Corlys I gave him mons that I think would be good companions. Strong and intimidating but soft when they want to be
also for this au the first time they meet it’s when they have to battle each other at an Targaryen event and Corlys falls head over heals for her strategy and wit!
Okay I practically know nothing about hotd but I was thinking about Pokemon teams for Rhaenys/Corlys so pls dont kill me if these don’t fit
Rhaenys is probably an elite four member and not champion (her type would potentially be like Dragon/rock or dragon/ice I could see her with some poison types??) Rhaenys has an extremely powerful team and prides herself on strategy
Corlys is either a gym leader or he’s a prominent figure in the battle circuit (Water types!) I see him with a team that balances power and speed
I think the two of them tend to battle each other frequently to keep their bond strong. They have a tally on who’s won the most (their kids thoroughly enjoy watching)
Sometimes they’ll be against in like singles tournaments other times they’ll fight as a pair in a doubles tournament
