"o-oh! are they? aha... i - well. it is cold...!" she's embarrassed, now, and is bringing a gloved hand up to feel her cheeks. she can't feel anything past the white leather, but she does know how embarrassed she is, that's for sure. finally, she's able to look back at orion.

it almost seems like his height compared to hers has doubled. steely gaze is pointed down towards her, and his arms fold over his chest. he doesn't speak, for a few moments, before very quietly, and evenly, speaking.

she's looking through her phone - dozens of files, dossiers, other things to send to vera and renji as soon as she can. elian stirs, and her lips quirk up into a smile. she reaches to brush lovely blonde wisps out of the other's face... until, she begins speaking. naoko's breath catches in her throat, and her heart begins to race. finally, she's able to let out a breath, and reaches over to give her a kiss.

           a healthy pause, followed by a gasp. “i can see myself! oh my god, that’s incredible… your eyes are so big? maybe it says you have a soul that’s like a mirror… you reflect the souls around you, something like that?”
