"you wish we were kissing right now." @fluoresnow ❄️💙
Joey tended to do a lot of stupid things with no logical reasoning behind them. Trying to egg him on and on to pay attention to him while he was working-- or that one time that he asked to make a machine jump to see if it could for a long day in bed. Joseph Flores was audacious in every sense of the word. Calling him ludicrous would also not be that far off. Especially when it came to how he was trying to distract her from driving the Bostonius. They were many, many feet in the air and had been for hours. Des knew that Joey was susceptible to boredom, but his words and his behavior were completely asinine. Did he want to die just because he had nothing better to do than to flirt with her? She let out a very annoyed scoff as her eyes remained fixed on the airspace ahead from underneath her mask.
"What I wish is for you to put a cork in it. You're really keeping to the name I so generously gave you, hmm? Snowstorm, you're going to be the death of all three of us if you keep throwing out such tenacious statements. One look away could be a matter of life and death." And it wasn't particularly an exaggeration, either. Say they were to look towards Joey for around five seconds. In those five seconds a bird had, somehow, managed to fly into their line of sight. So not only did they miss seeing the bird, they killed it with the aircraft, and likely the engine due to the speed in which the Bostonious collided with the bird. All of which wouldn't have happened if Joey kept his damn mouth shut. "Its not a matter of what I want, anyways. Raymond had been piloting far too long so I could cater to your insistent whining. Good god does he need a break from you," and Des himself for permitting the behavior in the first place. The butler was probably more than happy to retire to his room for the time being, save he see whatever it was the two of them were bickering over this time.
