It was incredibly loud, and we got really, really close to the front. There were an excessive number of people crowd-surfing. There were people close to us that were REALLY into one of the other bands playing, Foals, and it was the cutest thing I've ever witnessed. There was the overwhelming scent of THC and the sight of flying cups full of beer. There were overly sexual, intoxicated couples close to us, and the threat of several physically violent fights.

Actual Cage the Elephant was AMAZING. I did NOT expect them to sound that good live, and the lead singer had the most amazing stage presence (despite the fact that I could only see him for like 0.2 second). His ascot was so perfect and he sang so well and they performed Cigarette Daydreams and Telescope and Aberdeen and did an encore of Shake Me Down and I actually died a little bit inside from how good it was. And how surreal that the sounds were coming from an actual human being and not from my headphones.

Also, a certain fluffy duck was singing along and jumping and dancing behind me the whole time and it was hella cute and he's hella cute.
